Participation, health, safety and media
Participating in a class involves physical activity and may also involve photo or video capture.
Health and responsibility
Classes involve physical activity. We recommend seeking advice or clearance from an appropriate health professional when an injury, pregnancy, treatment, condition or other circumstance may affect participation. Dance With Karine does not provide medical diagnosis and cannot be responsible for a pre-existing or undisclosed health condition.
During class
Adapt intensity and range to your abilities, follow instructions, use recommended equipment and stop immediately if you experience unusual pain, dizziness or illness. Tell the instructor about limitations relevant to a safe adaptation.
Respect
Respectful conduct toward other participants, the instructor, staff and venue is required. Dangerous, violent, discriminatory or abusive behavior may result in removal from the activity.
Photo, video and voice
When you accept the media permission presented to you, you authorize Dance With Karine to capture and use your image, voice, photographs and video excerpts without a separate fee for the website, social media, advertising, portfolio, activity promotion, and the creation or sale of Dance With Karine online content or classes.
Filmed classes
Parts of a class may be filmed to review choreography, document the activity, create content or retain teaching material. Being filmed does not mean the material will necessarily be published. Where reasonably possible, we aim to limit or avoid publishing a participant who declined media permission.
Future withdrawal
You may ask that new uses of your image or voice stop by contacting info@dancewithkarine.com. A request does not guarantee removal of content already published, distributed or incorporated into a product before the request was received.
Minors
A minor participant must have the appropriate authorization of a parent or legal guardian.
